Health, Assistance & Nursing (LPN) Program Application Information

Program Information

• Hybrid format: Theory classes online; practical training and exams in person.
• Financial aid may be available after registration documents are signed.

Academic Requirements

**** As of May 28, 2026, a new government regulation requires applicants to the Health, Assistance & Nursing (LPN) program to have completed their education outside of Quebec in English. If your schooling was completed in English, you must provide a letter from your school confirming that the language of instruction was English. If your education was not completed in English, please contact the Centre to learn about the necessary steps to meet the admission requirements for the LPN program.

One of the following:

• Secondary 5 English, Secondary 4 Math, and Secondary 4 French
• Quebec Equivalency
• High School, Bachelor's, or Master's diploma with official transcripts (and translations, if applicable)

Note: Nursing students may be required to take the OQLF French exam at the end of the program.

Residency Documents

All applicants must upload a Medicare Card or Driver's License, plus:

• Born in Quebec: Long-form Birth Certificate
• Born elsewhere in Canada: Birth Certificate
• Permanent Resident/Canadian Citizen: PR Card/Landing Paper or Citizenship Certificate, Birth Certificate, and CSQ
• Refugee Claimant: Valid CSQ, Study Permit, Work Permit, and Birth Certificate (or approved substitute document)

• At registration, you must present the original copies of all uploaded documents, including translations.
